Earlier today we reported on Twitter CEO Dick Costolo’s tweet, which included a 6 second ‘vine’ video embedded into it. This morning we were unaware that Twitter actually planned to roll the product out today, which is exactly what the company has done in the form of an iPhone application.
Basically, users who download the application can record video 6 seconds at a time. They can then embed this in a tweet, just like Dick Costolo’s earlier today, complete with audio from the event.
At the moment it’s only available on iPhone, however an Android version shouldn’t be too far around the corner.
